P.O.S.H Beauty: A little shopping trip soothes the weary soul... *wink*

Went to the store and purchased a few items I felt I "needed". :) Eyelashes are a MUST HAVE for me. I've somehow became addicted and the ones made by Ardell Lashes are perfect for me. They look better than when I had the "permanent" (explain that one) ones. I do my own lashes... fyi :)
Then I picked up some NYX eyeshadow base. It is an ok product, although it doesn't beat MAC's paint pot (Painterly is my favorite). But it's good enough for basic wear when you really want those shadows to pop. It gives you a better eye palette to work with by evening out the skin tone and lighting the palette so that colors will show up better. It's light on your pocket too because its inexpensive and you use less shadow. Just $6.99! It gave me a good base as far as the look I wanted but I'll have to try it on a day that I'm out for a long period of time to see how it is in the longevity department.
Now, the MAC Fix+ (the whole reason for the trip to the mall in the first place) gives you that Marilyn Monroe glow we all want. You feel glowy, famous, as if the red carpet is laid out. ELF (eyes, lips, face) brushes for $1 to $3 were a "why not" purchase. But guess what?! They are Cool! All the other products where on my spontaneous shopping list of "might as well try 'em". Turned out to be a great bag of tricks that were inexpensive.
I believe in trying all options. I'm a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant and I use EVERYTHING that Mary Kay has to offer. But I also add to my collection from various lines. Some of these products I'll never use again because they weren't quality enough. But at least I tried. So, try new things and see what works for you. Just don't change up your skin care cleansing routine, especially if it's working for you. I've used Mary Kay Timewise FOREVER. If it's not broke, don't fix it.  That's a no, no! <3
